Arsenal win, Liverpool stumble 

Arsenal successfully navigated a tricky game against Holland's FC Twente last night, taking a 2-0 win in the away leg of their third qualifying round tie.

While the clubs appeared evenly matched in the first half, it was Arsenal who came to the fore in the second half as William Gallas socred off a free kick on 65 minutes, followed by Emmanuel Adebayor 8 minutes from time.
